Community Engagement

We asked and you responded! Intercity Transit collected over 10,000 comments from over 3,500 individual participants. We surveyed people at community events, on bus rides, through our website and several other efforts. We reached out to a wide variety of people, including those who use transit every day, to those who’ve never even considered using one of our services. We asked for feedback on:

  • Current use needs and preferences
  • Near-term improvements
  • Priorities for the future
  • Anything else people wanted to share

So, what did people tell us? The number one theme: people really love having access to IT services and value our drivers. This positive reinforcement is wonderful to hear, and we intend to continue operating at the highest possible level of service. But, we also want to get better. To that end, the following is a summary of the most mentioned goals for the future:
